Association of Medical Tourism of Almaty City

The Association of Medical Tourism of Almaty City is a professional association focused on the development of medical tourism and on strengthening industry cooperation in Almaty and Kazakhstan. The organization is regularly listed among the official supporters and participants of major healthcare and industry events, including KIHE and PharmaTECH Kazakhstan, which indicates its active role in the regional medical tourism agenda. In 2024, the association was named among the organizers of an international scientific and practical forum on the prospects of medical tourism in the CIS countries held in Almaty. Its president, Raisa Nurzhauybayeva, was also listed as the moderator of a KIHE session on the development of medical tourism in Central Asia, supporting a description of the association as an active expert and networking platform in this field.
